such tafoni are found in jodhpur-ajmer part of thar desert of india.
- I have removed ref to desert environments, as tafoni also occur in coastal and temperate climates (such as Gabriola Island on Canada's west coast). Ian mckenzie (talk) 01:10, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
