CSD - something..?

[edit]

Why has someone asked for deletion of this page? Considering the references from numerous sources and the numerous Czech TV channels which do have articles yet have no references and much less history and news coverage? --tgheretford (talk) 22:49, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

See this category to see what I mean: Category:Czech television --tgheretford (talk) 22:50, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, it looked like a glitch. --tgheretford (talk) 22:09, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Check on this article

[edit]

I have managed to find a few references in English (and a few in Czech from what I could gather using Google Translate), but the latter moments of TV3 from late 2001 are a bit shady. All I could do is complete the closedown section with information from the references I could gather. The website http://www.radiotv.cz has a lot more information, but the website is in Czech and the translations I've got can be puzzling. There is mention of TV3 being replaced by Galaxy (Galaxie) on terrestrial television but I am having trouble getting any references that Galaxy even existed, whereas the ones for TV3 are plentiful. Could anyone (preferably with knowledge of Czech) be able to help as to what happened to TV3 and add the relevant references into the article? Thanks. --tgheretford (talk) 22:09, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some things I have found around the Internet but I am having trouble finding references for, so I am not adding them to the article. Hopefully we can find some references through the Czech TV/news websites which correspond to what UK and Irish viewers saw through Sky digiboxes via Eurobird:
  • TV3 via the Eurobird satellite started in Jaunary 2001 and closed down on June 30, 2002. TV3 was replaced by "Stanice O" (Óčko).
  • When TV3 went off the air in 2001, it displayed a caption (translated into English) as "We have a group of people and they have control of TV in Czech. They stopped TV3 (Rup/38/01/2733) since 20.11.2001. TV3 company could stop TV broadcasting on 6.12.2001 We hope that is not definitive." TV3 resumed broadcasting on the 24th of December, 2001 at 02:00 (UTC). --tgheretford (talk) 22:39, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on TV3 (Czech Republic). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
