Filetab D language for TSX-11

[edit]

I worked with TSX-11 on a DEC PDP-11 system in 1983 and I remember there was a language called "D" - In an article on Computer Terms "D" is used for a 1999 programming language. Source: My memory and I found this:

The software included a WP package named Lex-11 and a spreadsheet from Saturn Software. The machine slowed considerably if more than 8 students wanted to use the word-processing package at the same time. There was also a decision-table language called "D" from the NCC in Manchester which worked very well on TSX Plus.

I think it was important, because it was said that Lex-11 was written in "D" and besides that "D" was an efficient language (considering that PDP-11 a 1 MIPS machine capable of serving 8 users wordprocessing).

I found that this "D" is mentioned as "Filetab D" under Wikip. page "Filetab" and "D disambiguation". --d-axel (talk) 04:21, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
