It's legit, but they sent it to mobile phone people first for a while. They'll probably show a video on iMPACT! or put it on the website soon.«»bd(talk stalk) 20:51, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Jim Cornette announced during TNA Impact, that TNA Wrestling will crown the first Women's Champion at Bound for GLory, and following Impact, on TNAWrestling.com they confirmed a Women's Division. The five known Knockouts in the Gauntlet Match are Gail Kim, Jacqueline Moore, Roxxy Laveaux, Traci Brooks, and Christy Hemme. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TNAWrestling (talkcontribs) 15:50, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

On the Bound For Glory page they call it the TNA Women's World Championship, just letting ya know.

They're versus screens are calling it the "TNA Knockouts Championship"... Why does TNA have to be so CONFUSING with EVERYTHING!!!!! MC511 05:44, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Are we sure we're not going to change it right now?--Monnitewars (talk) 20:42, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Agian tonight they called it nothing but the TNA Knockout Championship. Can I move it there?--Monnitewars (talk) 03:16, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Still called the Women's World Championship on the site. Why not just wait until they unveil the physical belt?«»bd(talk stalk) 10:54, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Maybe they haven't updated it...they refered to the belt about 15 times last night and everytime it was called the TNA Knockout Championship.--Monnitewars (talk) 18:12, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Who cares what it says on the belt? They never fully represent what the actual title name is. The World Heavyweight Championship (WWE) says "World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion". I'll take the word of Mike and Dave over a webmaster any day of the week. Mshake3 14:44, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes, true, we can't go by what it says on the physical belt as sometimes not everything on that title is used in the actual name. WHC of SmackDown and ECW title are examples of this. Dave Millican's site has pictures of the belt. Here. [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by TonyFreakinAlmeida (talkcontribs) 16:04, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
The SmackDown! World Heavyweight Championship sys World Heavyweight Wrestling Championship. The ECW title says ECW World Championship. In both cases that's what the title is called with the exception of one word which is obviously taken out for redundancy or clarification. That's a bit different than this change.«»bd(talk stalk) 16:09, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Considering how long it takes to make a belt, I'll just assume that this was the original idea for the title, and at the last minute they decided to use the term Knockouts for the championship name. Mshake3 16:22, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Like I said before, the belt is just a belt, having it doesn't mean you're the champion and what it says on the belt itself may not be the actual name of the championship. The word wrestling is not apart of the title of the WHC, as are World Heavyweight Wrestling no longer apart of the title of the ECW Championship. A trash can used to represent the hardcore title in OVW. The belt is just a prop to represent whoever is champion. It says TNA Women's Champion on the belt, but they're using the terms Knockout's Championship, Women's Championship, and Women's World Championship on TV and on the website. TonyFreakinAlmeida 17:20, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Now that the website is back up, I can't find any uses of "Knockout Championship". That said, I can only find old uses of "world" as a part of the title.«»bd(talk stalk) 21:20, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Trivia

Can we add that Gail Kim is the only woman to win the TNA and WWE Womens Championship?

This is notable because Jericho was the one guy to win the ECW and WCW TV Championship.

It also needs to be added to the WWE Womens title page. AD Double J 02:09, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure it's that relevant yet considering Gail Kim is the only person to win the TNA Women's World Championship period. Jeff Silvers 16:46, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Wrong Name

According to my source the name of the title is actually the TNA Women's Championship.--Monnitewars (talk) 17:19, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

And the same source has used two different names as well. Mshake3 17:40, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, but this is the PPV results from TNA I say move it.--Monnitewars (talk) 17:54, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
And just why is a webmaster more important than the actual PPV production? Mshake3 17:59, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Listen to your self...it's from the company. Now read the dang source before you reply please. FYI, there are no good pictures of the women's title right now that I know of.--Monnitewars (talk) 19:23, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
The belt says Women's, not Knockouts.«»bd(talk stalk) 12:30, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Love the white leather. I've been hoping to see some wrestling belts with different colored leather, just like Juggalo Championshit Wrestlings blue belt. Tyler Warren (talk/contribs) 05:30, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Is that the real design of the belt because on the TNA Website's roster page, where they have the champions are shown, the belt for the Womens belt seems rounder... Vampire Warrior 23:52, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Alan Funk

Why isn't there a single mention of "Miss TNA"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.76.5.69 (talk) 00:42, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

That is covered in the Knockout Article 122.107.181.143 (talk) 06:57, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Name Change

I think the name of the page should be changed to the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Because when the title was first announced it was called that. Also TNA has never referred to it as the TNA Women's Championship on TV or PPV. It has always been referred to as the TNA Knockouts Championship. So I think it should be called what it has always been called. The TNA Knockouts World Championship.--WillC 02:30, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Reign length

Let me get this straight. According to this version of the page, (which has stood for the last 50 or so versions) Taylor Wilde won the Championship on July 10, 2008 and has held it for 17 days already? Even though it's only July 11? Now, I don't watch TNA, so I don't wanna change it, but please somebody, fix the screw-up. And because, I don't know if TNA is taped or not, may I remind the editors here that WP:PW consensus is to use the taping dates for title changes, not the air date. Thanks, ♥NiciVampireHeart02:45, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

It was taped on the 24th. She won the title then.--WillC 02:47, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Then the article should say date won: June 24. And Kongs should say date lost: June 24. ♥NiciVampireHeart02:48, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
I thought it said. I must have wrote the worng thing. I guess I wasn't paying attention.--WillC 02:50, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Just fixed it1362talk 02:51, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Thank you, and @ Will, there's been a lot of activity on the article in the last dew hours. It's possible it got changed from what you wrote. ♥NiciVampireHeart02:52, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

But hasn't Kong actually defended the belt after June 24? 41.245.190.156 (talk) 06:58, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

No.--WillC 07:06, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Days Held

The "sorter button" at the top of the 'days held' column doesn't seem to sort correctly. I'm sorry, but I'm not sure how to fix this - could someone else take a look? Thanks. Pigs Might Fly Music (talk) 10:59, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
