Not Notable

[edit]

I made an attempt to find articles from secondary sources and really didn't find anything notable about the company. It's not written in a manner that fits in with Wikipedia's structure. I think back to WP:NOTDATABASE and WP:NOTADVERT. To say the article has multiple issues seems to be an understatement. I'm still learning so I'm a little gun shy about flagging an article for deletion but I feel this one qualifies. Se7enNationArmy2024 (talk) 17:54, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

flagging this for deletion seems fair, some facts stated seem to be flat out wrong like the Taiwan excellence award didn't go to TECO at all. from what i read the award went to KARMA’s EVO Altus. if you want to flag it go ahead. though then again im also new to this. Thanks for looking into it! You've been a great help! I took the topic to the Tea House for more of a consensus. Se7enNationArmy2024 (talk) 19:35, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Motor

[edit]

TECO is one of the top three global motor producers.[citation needed] The company manufactures industrial motors in a wide range of sizes. Its product offerings include high-efficiency motors, low- and high-voltage 3-phase motors, high-thrust motors, explosion-proof motors, steel-cased motors, single-phase motors, and more. TECO produces brake motors, eddy-current motors, inverter-duty motors, high-temperature exhaust gas fan motors, gear-reducing motors, crane motors, wound rotor motors, submersible motors, DC motors, ventilation blowers, synchronous motors, and variable-pole motors, as well as generators and compressors.

System automation

[edit]

TECO’s system automation division focuses on the research, development, production, and sales of industrial automation products and electronic control systems. These products include industrial inverters, servo systems, electromagnetic switches, and molded-case circuit breakers. The division also provides motor controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), servo controllers, electronic relays, and other inverter-related products. Furthermore, TECO is involved in the design and installation of power distribution networks.

M&E construction

[edit]

This division specializes in the R&D, design, production, and sales of equipment and systems meant for electrical power supply. TECO undertakes projects related to power distribution and generation, alternative energy, and rail stations and depots. The company also provides specialized air-conditioning equipment for environments such as clean rooms, and designs, constructs, and manages electrical engineering systems for high-rise buildings. TECO integrates air-conditioning and electrical systems for hospitals, hotels, and water pump stations, among other related projects.

Home appliances

[edit]

TECO is also a prominent producer and distributor of home appliances. The company manufactures and assembles a wide range of products, including household and commercial air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, dehumidifiers, dryers, televisions, LCD monitors, air purifiers, small appliances, DVD recorders, stereo systems, and health appliances. TECO also acts as a dealer for other domestic and foreign home appliance brands.

Wind power

[edit]

In 2010, TECO entered the wind power sector by launching Taiwan's first domestically made 2 MW permanent-magnet synchronous wind turbine. This initiative marked the company's entry into renewable energy production. The division focuses on the production and sale of wind turbines, including the FC-2000 2.0 MW PMSG (Permanent Magnetic Synchronous Generator) wind turbine, power converters, control systems, and small wind-power turbines, reinforcing TECO's commitment to sustainable energy.
