Here is the M4-page discussion that led to the submission's relocation here.Wikist 05:10, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think "Why wasn't" etc can be acceptable as a section name aside form capitalisation issues. can this not be rewritten? GraemeLeggett 13:25, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't agree more. It is POV - both the title and the content - and begs questions that are not addressed. DMorpheus 14:38, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Although the submission is a reasonable editorial for somewhere, the more fundamental problem is that many people tend to turn this M4 article into an M27 article, or M26 article, or T-34 article, or Tiger article. I moved this M27-design-history submission to the T20 article where it is more logical and more needed. If there is consensus for this location, discussion about factual errors and POV can continue there. Thank you.Wikist 06:51, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chamberlain can take a side in his book but Wiki editors should write "The Army decided not to replace" (not "The Army failed to") and write what happed (not what "should have" and not hypothetically what "would have" happened if the Army had done the "right" thing). See Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Thank you.Wikist 18:53, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stop using false belton cooper facts

[edit]

Please, stop using false belton coper facts like the one with the "unnecesary 76mm" (which was in UK for the D Day but it was not fitted on the vehicles) or the "US Tank doctrine didn't allow tanks to fight tanks" because actually US tank doctrine said tanks should help infantry against all dangers, INCLUDING TANKS — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.60.240.103 (talk) 22:39, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Needing Citation Badly

[edit]

This article needs sources and cites very badly, most of the article lacks these. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Texas-Dude1914 (talkcontribs) 17:09, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Texas-Dude1914, I invite you to be WP:BOLD and help fix that problem! If you can find some good sources, feel free to improve the article. Very few folks are watching/working on this page, I only came across it while reviewing a draft of yours, so its unlikely many will see this message. Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:T1 Light Tank which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 22:36, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
