NYT article
[edit]This week-end's NYT Magazine has an article on him. Should it be linked? 211.225.34.183 (talk) 00:53, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

totally blind or partially sighted?
[edit]The sentence "Raman succumbed to blindness at the age of 14 brought about from glaucoma,[1][4][5] being [previously?] partially sighted[3] and able to see with his left eye.[6]" is unclear (I added the [previously?], which I hope wasn't a wiki no-no). I skimmed reference [6], but it didn't really clear it up. 70.240.200.92 (talk) 20:17, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
On the same issue, I am not quote sure the best way to mention his blindness is in the first sentence itself. He is clearly notable for his research and development (with or without the blindness). I am modfying the introductory paragraph a bit to take this into account (although it will now repeat some information from later in the article, which I guess is fine). Why is this article in Wikiproject Pakistan?
[edit]The subject of the article seems to be unrelated to Pakistan, despite claims by a few articles to the contrary. It is not clear then why this article is on Wikiproject Pakistan. Piyush (talk) 08:54, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
