Pronunciation is Hoosh-man-zaa-deh if you're going by the persian pronunciation. hoosh-man-za-dei sounds like a horribly butchered americanization of it.

Farsi is written right to left, but whoever wrote Houshmandzadeh's name in Farsi wrote the letters left to right. So it looks like "hedazdnamhsuoh." This is also the case for the other Farsi words in the article ("wisdom" and "son of). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.223.171.102 (talk) 18:31, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Victorville or Barstow?

[edit]

Ok, the prose says TJ was born in Barstow, but the infobox says he was born in Victorville. The two towns are about 30 miles apart. Which is it? Gentgeen (talk) 21:07, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

To be completely fair and to avoid having conflicting pieces of information, I have eliminated both locations, thus leaving only California up there. Hopefully, someone will find a reliable source to justify his real birth place. Tinton5 (talk) 00:06, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fact box on right hand side is incorrect.

[edit]

The fact box on the right hand lists Houshmandzadeh as a member of the Minnesota Vikings. Please revise. Cjstanonis (talk) 23:21, 3 September 2010 (UTC) I see that it is corrected now....wow you work fast! :) Cjstanonis (talk) 23:26, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

T. J. Houshmandzadeh was released by the Seattle Seahawks. He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings on September 4, 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.240.44.249 (talk) 01:25, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Update

[edit]

The article requires updating. The "Bengals" section is written in present tense, and of course he's now with another team.

Thanks! 12.72.22.252 (talk) 23:30, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not Vikings

[edit]

TJ is a Raven - same purple, but not the Vikings - although Brett Favre probably wishes you were correct! 12.72.22.252 (talk) 23:49, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Iranian" is not a race.

[edit]

To say that he is of "mixed race" because his mother is African-American and his father is Iranian is an error of parallel structure. "Mixed heritage" would be fine, or stating that his father is Persian or Aryan. It just sounds weird to list the race of one person and the nation of origin of the other. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.176.108.24 (talk) 17:45, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
