POV

[edit]

"self-proclaimed" is a POV comment. Every country in the world has a self-proclaimed title. The language needs to be NPOV-ified. Corvus cornixtalk 20:43, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The language of the footnote is from {{Kosovo-note}}, which is a badly-implemented attempt to do the right thing (e.g., explain both sides of the disputed sovereignty issue). It's not only used here. It would be nice, though, to have a replacement for that template on the simple grounds that the actual technical implementation is horrendous, and any replacement on techical merits could also use much better language for the explanation. this is from the long discussion Talk:Šar_Mountains#Footnote_workshop feel free to change it, I dont care, just be sure you have some fire proof clothing on. Technically I would like to have a {{KosovoRef}} template that i can use, in fact I would like a template for all the disputed major names like {{Gjakova}} so i can use a template and it would include both names and show them correctly. In fact for small villages I would like to wrap teh whole thing in a template, I had one, but it was deleted. James Michael DuPont (talk) 23:30, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
