Syrian Republic → Syrian Republics – "French Republic" still redirects to "France" rather than "French Republics," as is the case with some other countries. I believe that Syrian Republic should redirect to Syria, as should Republic of Syria. Syrian Arab Republic has already been redirected to "Syria" by User:AltendoYT. - "(disambiguation)" would be incorrect because this is a set index article. Syrian Republics would work, though; cf. French Republics. (This is not a !vote to move, though. I haven't thought it through yet. FWIW I'll note that Polish Republic, while the official name of Poland, is a DAB, so there are examples in both directions.) -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 09:01, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
