Merge proposal

This proposal does not seem to come with any justification from its proposer. The article should not be merged. It is a substantial article in its own right, and to merge it wuith the biographical article would significantly unbalance the latter.--Smerus (talk) 12:41, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Leave separate: I agree with Smerus regarding this article. Merging the information here with the main Tchaikovsky article would seriously unbalance the article. Objectivity and faux-legitimacy of some claims

And I quote: "The Sixth Symphony, generally interpreted as a declaration of despair, is a work of prodigious originality and power and is perhaps one of Tchaikkovsky's most consistent and perfectly composed works." The Sonata Form
