Separatist symbol

I am looking for any information regarding a separatist symbol I vaguely recall from a history textbook in elementary school. It was a man wearing a red toque carrying a rifle. I saw it placed against the provincial flag. Does anyone know anything about this or is it a figment of my imagination? Ben Webber (talk) 04:36, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
