Notability
[edit]The following secondary sources support Sydney J. Yard notability as an WP:ARTIST:

- Is Dustin Publications self-publishing imprint to Nancy Dustin Wall Moure or does it have the same name by coincidence? Graywalls (talk) 18:42, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
- WorldCat shows the book as a: publication available in 1,093 libraries. She is an art authority on Impressionism, Post-Impressionism. Greg Henderson (talk) 20:03, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
- I just noticed that the Dustin-Wall book is self published by Dustin Publishers that seems to focus on publishing books by Nancy Dustin Hall. Came here to make a note that removed the puffery in the lede sourced to this poor-quality citation. Greg, it has been explained to you that just because a book is listed in WorldCat, does not make it notable. It simply means that the book is held in a library. Anyone who self publishes a book can send it to any library should they wish to do that. It is a self-published, primary source - for some reason you still do not seem to understand what that means. It's perplexing. Netherzone (talk) 15:47, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- Per WP:RSSELF Self-published expert sources may be considered reliable when produced by an established expert on the subject matter. The book has been peer-reviewed by Patricia Ward Biederman here, and by Janice Driesbach here. Nancy Dustin Wall Moure specializes in the field of pre-1960 California art and has written over 50 books and articles. The book California Art 450 Years of Painting & Other Media by Moure is used in 7 Wikipeida articles. I hopes that helps. Greg Henderson (talk) 18:25, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
