I started a draft a few weeks ago on this, because I thought it was an interesting pre-history to the pre-Tennessee, pre-Watauga Settlement; and one that doesn't have much wiki information available. It was rejected for an article twice, on not having sufficient references. I am not versed well enough in wiki-procedures and politics, to really know how to get this page added. Perhaps it would be better to be included in an existing page related to Sycamore Shoals or the Watauga Association, however; it really in my mind, is a stand alone topic, that pre-dates the details of both of these pages; even though it shares location with them. Can anyone better versed in Wiki take a look, and see if you have any ideas on how to get this info established in an article? Draft:Watauga_Old_Fields? The level of detail it contains, is not found anywhere in wiki, and there are several other wiki pages related to Indian Old Fields and other specific Old Fields (Eskippathiki) that likely do not have as much history as the Watuaga Old Fields. Thanks to anyone who might assist. Davidwtaylor1 (talk) 13:14, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The Park and the "Shoals" are two separate things. The Shoals is not the same thing. Additionally the park it is no longer called a "Historic Area" it is state park per the state parks website! --ACase0000 (talk) 05:13, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
