Witness to a moment in history
[edit]I stumbled across this anecdote, but I don't know how to incorporate it into the current version of the article:
- "As a young girl, Sybil Sassoon participated in a celebrated attack on members of the Ballet Russes after the first performance of "L'aprés-midi d'un faune", a turn-of-the-century ballet whose blatant eroticism and lack of respect for ballet tradition sent the cultural world into a frenzy of outrage.<:ref>Owens, Mitchell. "At Lunch with David Rocksavage; Heavy Lies the Coronet on a Lord of Cinema," New York Times. December 14, 1997.</ref>
This is posted this for retrieval when the article expands to accommodate it. --Tenmei (talk) 06:47, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Relationship to Jack Huston
[edit]The article says, "Through her son John, Sybil is the great-grandmother of actor Jack Huston," however, Jack Huston's Wikipedia entry says that "his maternal grandparents were Hugh Cholmondeley, 6th Marquess of Cholmondeley and Lavinia Margaret (Leslie)." I'm assuming that means his grandfather was George Hugh, not John George? I will change the article to reflect this, but someone better at genealogy than I should check this. -- Mecandes (talk) 18:39, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
