Acquisition by Fitzherberts
[edit]Elizabeth Swynnerton certainly brought the Hall and estate to the family. Her father, Humphrey, died in 1562. She cannot, however, have married William Fitzherbert in that year, as he had already died in 1559 - see his entry at [History of Parliament]. In fact, Elizabeth was already remarried to Francis Gatacre by that date. We need someone who knows the subject to clarify this. Sjwells53 (talk) 18:55, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
