This album was named "Sam Cooke" by it's creator, and looks to have retained that title for the rest of the 20th Century If anybody objects to correcting a single-sourced questionable decision, please speak is there something I am totally missing???Tillywilly17 (talk) 11:41, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese 2011 issue

Thanks for fixing up album name I have another topic for discussion, not necessary to change anything

Back in these days, artists would mostly do sessions to record their next single, often recording the b-side too I don't know why Chain Gang went on this album, but it was not recorded for it Here are his 1960 singles

                                 recorded released charted (BB)

Chain Gang 1960/01/25 1960/07/08 1960/08/15 RCA Victor Single 7783

Sad Mood 1960/04/13 1960/11/08 1960/12/05 RCA Victor Single 7816

Teenage Sonata 1960/01/28 1960/2/14 1960/03/14 RCA Victor Single 7701

The recording date for the album is one question, and the recording dates of the songs he decided to include is another It was many years later that artists went into studio to record an album

I made a chart of all the singles by Sam Cooke

Sam Cooke charts

This is information I collected, not info I verified! I have done this for many artists top section are releases singles then charts as labeled and bottom is discography I copied Tillywilly17 (talk) 18:44, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
