The disambiguation pages Swing, Swingin', and Swinger are not clean-cut enough.

I propose a "merge all 3" to incorporate all articles with titles like "Swing" or any common form of the word, e.g. Swinger, Swinging, Swingin', Swings, Swingers, etc. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 20:37, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Overlap between "Swinging" and "Swing", between "Swinger" and "Swing", and between "Swinging" and "Swinger" is minimal. The only problem with all this is the redirect of Swinging to Swing, as "Swinging" applies to only one use on the Swing page, the recently moved Swinging (sexual practice). That move needs to be reverted, as the article's topic is primary for "Swinging". The likelihood of anyone searching with "swinging" to find an encyclopedia article about swinging on a swing, or any other use of "swinging", is highly unlikely. The likelihood that anyone searching with "swinging" to find anything else listed on either the Swing or Swinger dab pages is practically zilch. --B2C 21:50, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Clearly there is a vast difference between the sexual activity of polygamous partner sharing and the childlike enjoyment of the physical properties of a seat suspended on a pendulum. Although the term is used literally in the former and euphemistically in the latter these pages should not be combined. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Last pawn (talkcontribs) 12:30, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

'clearly there is a difference between swing which is what kids play on and swingers which is what adults play with so why merge thats a very bad idea what if a kid look up swing and swingers pop up kids would be patronized so in all i think its a very bad idea — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.15.211.144 (talk) 21:14, 11 January 2015 (UTC) [reply]
