UK’s first lending library
[edit]Yes, it's in the source. But given that it wasn't built until five years after the Public Libraries Act 1850, I'm sceptical. Do they actually mean 'Swindon's first...'? Or some other noteworthy first? (Bradford Mechanics' Institute Library claims to have started in 1832.) --Verbarson (talk) 03:48, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
