I think it would be better to put all prelimresults in one single table like this with all information in one row and add sortable function:

It's a good idea, but for the 800m and 1500m events, there would be extremely wide tables. Unless it only shows a few selected partial times like, i.e. for the 800m: 200m, 400m and 600m.
