That doesn't matter on Wikipedia. If it was notable then, it still should be on here. George Washington's dead - do you think his article should be deleted? There are articles about many people and companies that are defunct - that's what an encyclopaedia is about. Directories only want to have current entities in their pages - but we're not a directory.
