Hi PancakeMistake, I'll be reviewing this for you. My typical style is to read through the article and make small grammar changes myself as a courtesy and I'll list more substantial comments below for your response. I will update the above checklist as we go along. I see that you are semi-retired, so please let me know if I should proceed with the review. Grk1011 (talk) 19:00, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Grk1011 Hi, thanks for taking this on! Please go ahead, I'm in my active era. Pancake (talk) 16:02, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • Infobox good and proper licensing for image
  • For consistency between areas and cities being called out in the sentence, I'd suggest something like: "The Sway Tour began in September 2018 with a show in Toronto, Canada, followed by 13 tour dates across North America. It then moved on to focus on England and the Nordic countries, with 18 additional tour dates concluding with Stockholm in December 2018."
  • It would be nice to add the 32 concert dates figure somewhere.
  • Remove comma after "presence"

Background

[edit]
  • I understand the rationale for the tables in "shows" being split by North America and Europe, but it appears that it was actually promoted as more "international" vs "nordic" based on the first few sentences of this section.
  • It would add more context to the inclusion of the performances with Lorde and Katy Perry if you mention that those were also in support of Sway (if they were).
  • twelve -> 12
  • If you move the "Earlier that spring" sentence to be part of the second paragraph, you could start with a summary sentence like "Prior to the Sway tour, Styrke had performed across North America and Europe promoting Sway and her previous material. These performances included..."

Development

[edit]
  • You could add something about club venues to the lead since that seems to be a key takeaway
  • It feels a little weird to write so confidently about the set list when the set list section further down includes "It does not represent all concerts for the duration of the tour"
    • The purpose of the disclaimer is mainly to note that the set list is taken from a specific show. She might have performed the same set at all dates, but we can't really know for sure. Pancake (talk) 15:29, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Critical reception

[edit]
  • The image from Sydney (not part of tour) doesn't seem related. Would it make more sense in the "Background" section where you talk about shows prior to the tour?
Removed it. Pancake (talk) 15:29, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Shows

[edit]
  • The ref for the table does not backup all of the tour dates, namely just Boston, which is a super sigh coming from me. Update: the source for the second table DOES include all 14 of the North American dates, so you can ref name and reuse that one for both tables as a supplemental.

References

[edit]
  • Swedish language and subscription refs accepted in good faith
  • Is setlist.fm a WP:RS? Isn't it also a wiki?
  • Other refs appear to be from reliable sources
  • Check ref 19 to make sure it works (didn't for me)
  • Earwig's tool shows extremely low copyvio likelihood at 8.3%
