Shuttle goes to Cardiff not always to Cardiff bus station, see the timetable 81.2.110.250 (talk) 23:36, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't it serve Cardiff Bus Central Station almost all journeys except one or two (to Cardiff Bay?) 128.240.229.67 17:42, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bays

[edit]

As I understand it, "Garden Street" is the southern exit from the bus station, and runs underneath part of the building itself. The bays there are numbered 21-25, and their respective flags say "Bay 21" etc. The flags on Wellington Street IIRC neither carry numbers nor bear the name "Quadrant". I'll have to check on this, hence tagging rather than removing it. 217.36.107.9 (talk) 16:29, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On closer inspection, it seems that the three stands outside Tesco bear no identifying marks whatsoever. No posters, no branding, no flags. Nothing. All of which makes them rather difficult to say whether or not they are a part of the bus station proper. Looks like a note to the council may be in order. 217.36.107.9 (talk) 15:43, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No action. Removing the mentioned statement. 82.46.242.41 (talk) 11:05, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Naming

[edit]

I propose moving this article to "Swansea City bus station". The term "Quadrant Bus Station" isn't used much anymore as most transport literature in Swansea refer to the station as "Swansea City Bus Station" now. Any objections? Wiccasha (talk) 14:03, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could you provide some sources for this name. I've heard it called Swansea bus station a lot, and sometimes the City's bus station, but never Swansea City bus station. Also I imagine it may be officially renamed when construction is complete, so maybe we should wait until then to change the article name. Welshleprechaun 15:24, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

These recent web pages refer to the bus station as "Swansea City Bus Station":

and this name appears on the signage in the station itself. I wouldn't object to the article being renamed to simply "Swansea bus station" as this would represent more of a world view for readers outside of Swansea (and the UK). "Quadrant bus station" is a term that was mainly used locally in the Swansea area. Wiccasha (talk) 17:21, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would then agree to a name change. I didn't realise it opened today, but it seems there has been an official name change. Welshleprechaun 21:08, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Drop off point

[edit]

Can someone local please detail where the drop-off point is for passengers arriving by car? As far as I can tell from the map you have to park in Tesco's car park and walk across - but it's not obvious from the aerial view. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.182.97.212 (talk) 20:52, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
