Has anybody got a pic of a classic GS? The GS 500 looks completely atypical, with its twin-spar frame.--Cancun771 20:20, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, Cancun771, here's a shot of my GS(X)750EZ which is one of the better machines in its class, IMO.H2RICK (talk) 21:59, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'll try to get a pic of a more representative 2 valve bike for this article...maybe a 750 or 850...instead of my GS(X)750, as nice as it is.H2RICK (talk) 23:08, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming of Suzuki range wikis?

[edit]

Hi,

in view of the unsystematic way Suzuki handles its model designations, shouldn't the Wikis be renamed?

Consider this: Currently, there are wikis on the GS, GSX, GSX-R, and Katana series. In Germany (and probably much of the rest of Europe), the Katana moniker designated the famous restyled GS derivatives, while in the US, this name was only accepted after their success - and used for GSX bikes, later even for the cheap GSX-F sport tourers. Which, in other parts of the world, are called "GS" despite their four-valve engines... You see what I'm getting at?--Cancun771 08:08, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
