@JohnCD This article needs section dealing with medicinal properties .
It was recommended to my deceased wife who died of pancreatic cancer,but she died before trying it. I understand that it was used from ancient times by the Bushmen of the Cape region of South Africa for the treatment of diabetes, cancers of the stomach region, liver problems, vaginitis, piles, cystitis, water retention, constipation. I've in for practically any problem below the waist!!!
