Removal of infobox
[edit]one cover version shouldn't have any advantage over others unless tremendous, so i've deleted the gareth gates one from boxes —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.98.165.130 (talk • contribs) 17:18, 2 June 2007
- I'm not quite sure what you mean by an "advantage". The Gareth Gates single, since it hit #1 in the UK, would typically have its own article (as per WP:MUSIC), but usual practice on Wikipedia (for a cover version that was that successful) is to include information about it in the general article about the song. The cover versions by Pete Yorn, Tool, and the others did not chart and so do not have their own infoboxes. --Paul Erik 21:46, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Occurs to me that the abovementioned cover receives unnecessary expore. Never heard of a Gareth Gates, and certainly hasn't entered my fairly large collection of re-makes. My suggestion is that it be toned down. imfred (talk) 12:28, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:WYGG.jpg
[edit]Image:WYGG.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Lead sntence with "originating" and "thematize"
[edit]The statment has a valid reference. Please try alternate wordings of the sentence to make it more acceptable. Steve Pastor (talk) 17:56, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
Unclear wording
[edit]What is this supposed to mean?
"Also in the same were recorded "I'll Hold You In My Heart (Till I Can Hold You In My Arms)", "Without Love (There Is Nothing)", and "I'll Be There". on August 7, was again overdubbed to stereo and mono in Las Vegas, where the final master was produced."
I'd fix it if I could guess what it meant. Any takers?
Also, the In The Ghetto Wiki entry refers to Suspicious Minds, but In The Ghetto is not mentioned in the Suspicious Minds entry:
"In the Ghetto" was recorded during Presley's session in the American Sound Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. It was Presley's first creative recording session since the '68 Comeback. Other hits recorded at this session were "Suspicious Minds", "Kentucky Rain", and "Don't Cry Daddy".Guyburns (talk) 08:26, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
Unclear wording, indeed!
[edit]Was this article written in , or translated to, English? Atrocious. Many missing modifiers, for an alliterative start. 24.14.95.248 (talk) 00:42, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
