There is another woman's figure named Shoshanna (שושנה)or Susanna mentioned in the apocryphal book of jubilees.Susanna, the daughter of Elam, was the mother of Rasu'eja (רצויה)which was the wife of Arpachshad.(The Book Of Jubilees,Chapter eight, verse one).

"Book of Jubilees" is a non-canonical apocyphal book and there is no such character 'Rasu'eja' in the Hebrew bible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.68.95.65 (talk) 20:37, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

//// Who wrote that nonsense?! Shoshanah is NOT a male name. There is NO Sooosy. It is never given to men - and "such as Italians" sounds discriminatory. It seems someone wilfully sabotaged the article. - García, Nuremberg, Bavaria May 10, 2009 87.175.124.127 (talk) 23:35, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed that bit about Susannah being a name given to women of true beauty such as "Italian Supermodels." I guess it's a joke? If it isn't, someone feel free to put that bit back in and add a citation. --Apricotgreene (talk) 02:24, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In modern Hebrew, Shoshana means "rose," not "lily." Has the meaning changed over time? Or is the comment about "lily" a mistake? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.46.165.243 (talk) 16:58, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
