A fact from Susan Ershler appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 8 July 2010 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that on May 16, 2002, Susan Ershler, with her husband Phil, became the first married couple to reach all Seven Summits?
Notability is very thin here. The small amounts of refs are low grade and are BLP1E (i.e. that she climbed Everest). She is not a notable mountaineer (not even a notable US mountaineer). She climbed the Seven summits (which is really Everest plus the money to travel to the others), wrote a book on it, and then got a UPE to make her Wikipedia page for her motivational speaking career. But unlike other valid motivational speakers on WP, she never attracted any subsequent RS. Should be sent to AfD. 78.18.228.191 (talk) 11:47, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
