I have more material...
[edit]I need to take a break so went ahead and saved this as a "stublet," but there is much more in the bios from the Secretary of State and Department of Education websites that need to be included, as well as from some news clippings I've gathered. I'll try to get back to it later tonight. -- J-M Jgilhousen 04:31, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- Expanded the Summary, "Life before politics," and "Legislative carrer" sections. I have found few sources for information on her early life and background, so that section is weak. I have more to add on her term as a Senator, and propose to finish up with a summary of her tenure as Superintendent. Due to the length of the article already, I have (perhaps prematurely) removed the "stub" tag. It should meet the WPBIO criteria as a "start" soon, if not now. -- J-M Jgilhousen 00:38, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Finished expansion per above plan. I still have found very little on her life before entering politics. Her journalistic career is described in several places as "award winning" but I have yet to find any specific awards she received during that period. Both the sections on her legislative term and Superintendency could be expanded further, and my decision not to list every proposal she has made is admittedly a subjective one. In short, I'm done for now, and am moving on to the redlinks created by this article. -- J-M Jgilhousen 06:21, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
