What the????

We haven't heard any word of the season being greenlit by CBS, so why has an article been created? —Preceding unsigned comment added by ScottAHudson (talkcontribs)

Survivor: Gabon

according to survivorskills.com.. Survivor 17 is Survivor: Gabon... is this for reaL??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.213.254.131 (talk) 11:13, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Locations scouted

they have scouted the following locations for possible filming:
- Kalayaan Islands, Philippines
- Tokelau
- Niue
- Gabon
- Canary Islands
- Nigeria
- Ghana
- Galapagos Islands
- Bahamas —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.60.243.20 (talk) 14:22, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Any sources to confirm this? Otherwise it's a definate no for the article Survivorfan101 (talk) 05:29, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

I'd LOVE Survivor if they went to the Galapagos! Stunning wildlife. A climate you'd NEVER expect, everthing Survivor needs! They've overdone it near Australia. They need to come closer to the Prime Meridian here! From Tagi to Bottom, MySurvivorPartay (Wobbuffet!. Dats right) 01:48, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

That's real cool, MSP, just remember to read (or re-read) WP:TPG at some point. In a nutshell: talk pages are for the discussion of the upkeep of the article, not the subject content. -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 04:26, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

I've removed it for now because the report seems rather questionable from what I could read of it. The article seemed to have conflicting information in that casting was still going on, yet some celebrities were already cast (which is itself questionable). If somebody could provide a full translation, that would be great. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:24, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
I am from Camarines Sur, Philippines. The whole island of Lahuy in Caramoan, Camarines Sur has been closed to the public for the shooting of the said reality show. It is not clear though if it is the US or Asian version. -Filipinayzd (talk) 10:18, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the additional link. So for the US version, it's only rumor, not fact. Therefore, it can't be added to the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 16:18, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Photos from the locals:

Nice photos, but there is no identifiable Survivor gear in any of them. Just pictures of boats, huts being constructed, and a beach. Having captions that say Survivor do not mean that they are Survivor. Nothing is from a reliable source either. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:49, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

I uploaded the logo, which can be found here. I guess it can't be added until the finale of 16 airs tonight, so you can add it tonight when it's officially announced. Thanks -theblueflamingoSquawk 18:01, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Official Spoilers

I have a complaint to you guys.

You keep putting up OFFICIAL stuff before we in Spokane even watch the episodes. Don't you know ANYTHING about the time zone? You should know about time zone. In my homestate, it is NOT the same time as in your homestates. Please stop putting up OFFICIAL stuff before I watch the episodes, it could cause MAJOR spoilers. Please? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.32.3.135 (talk) 02:02, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

We're well aware of time zones. Wikipedia does not delay publishing things based on time zone spoilers (I can't find the guideline on that at the moment, but I'll keep looking). My suggestion is that if you don't want to find out what is happening on an episode before it airs wherever you are that you don't visit Wikipedia and don't use the Internet in general because you could run into spoilers elsewhere besides here. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:38, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
I must second the sentiments of Gogo Dodo. It's basic common sense. Don't read the wikipedia page of the show you want to watch hours beforehand. I live in California and I would never think to do that if I didn't want to know. Agrippina Minor (talk) 17:46, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, think about the people in Gabon itself who probably don't even have Survivor at all! We can't just ignore the information because one person or group of people don't want to know about it. That's censorship. -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 07:03, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

No official updates about the Season?

The filming is over and the cast hasn't been revealed yet. I wonder when they will be revealed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.56.124.104 (talk) 02:07, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

They are usually revealed about a month before the premiere. Since it starts September 18th, they could announce it any day now, although next week seems the most likely. Starwarsrulez (talk) 07:38, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

BTW a promo has started airing on CBS. 75.179.146.142 (talk) 06:57, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

I hear they are waiting for the Olympics to end, and they will reveal the cast the day after the closing ceremony. If you'd like cast spoilers, go to survivorfever.net. They can't go in the article, but they are always right. Rj1020 (talk) 19:36, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Well according to the official CBS website, they are going to announce the cast tomorrow. 75.179.146.142 (talk) 00:42, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Are there any sources for this? Certainly doesn't look like the official site has that breakdown. If not it should be removed. PageantUpdater talkcontribs 20:55, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Don't Forget

The first TWO episodes air on the premiere night. You'll want to add another slot for "the game". Rj1020 (talk) 00:07, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Koda in infobox

Not sure if it's just my screen, but the yellow writing for Koda in the info box sort of disappears into the background. Any thought to darkening the shede of yellow a touch for readability? (I don't know color codes well enough to try myself).--Cube lurker (talk) 15:40, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Another thought would be to not color the name and instead use a colorbox like so:
  Fang
  Kota
How about that idea instead? If that is acceptable, changing it on all of the old Survivor articles would probably be a good idea just to be consistent. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:48, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
personally I like it.--Cube lurker (talk) 22:54, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
It's definitely easier to read and matches up with the color usage in the tables better. You can stick the text in the box like:
 Fang
 Kota
But I don't think that looks very good. The boxes are too tight around the text and you get different sized boxes. The first version reminds me more of a flag and I like that as it sort of pertains to the game. Before I make the change, let's see if anybody else has comments. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:31, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
I like the first idea of the colored squares with the name next to them proposed by Gogo Dodo. It is a reminder of flags for the tribes and would eliminate the problem of readability Survivorfan101 (talk) 00:44, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes, great idea. Can't believe we didn't think of it earlier, tbh. That's 4-0 so far. Consensus enough yet? (And while we're talking about standardizing articles, there's still the matter of writing episode summaries for old seasons in the new format.... hint, hint) -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 02:05, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Make that 5-0 :) PageantUpdater talkcontribs 02:57, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
I assume we'd apply this to contestant articles too? -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 06:20, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
5-0 is good for me! The tribe has spoken, I made the change. I'm not sure what contestant articles you are referring to. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:06, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
E.g. Jonathan Penner. The contestant infobox has a field for tribes. These generally use the same color coding as the now outdated season infobox, though some only use black text. Should we replace this with the new "flag" design? -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 08:24, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Ah, okay. I had looked at one of the contestant articles and I totally missed that the tribes are sometimes colorized. Yau-Man Chan's is not, while Jonathan's is. I think if the colorizing stays then it should be the "flag" style. It really helped with readability. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:51, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Cool. I'll get onto that tonight then, providing my internet doesn't crap out again! I've also applied it to the international articles - well, the ones that have infoboxes at least. Looks like I've got me some standardizing and rewriting to do these holidays! -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 01:08, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Now need to worry. As soon as the decision was reached here, I went ahead and made the changes in Survivor Philippines. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:51, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

The Michelle vote

How do we know the vote against Michelle was 8-1? They never showed all of the votes in that vote. Corvus cornixtalk 22:30, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

It's in the CBS recap, "With eight of the nine votes cast against her". Interesting that they don't have the voting video like the did with last season. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:25, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
I take back what I said that they don't have the voting video. They do, but I keep getting "The requested video content has expired." when I go look at it. Hopefully just a temporary glitch. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:36, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
OK, thanks. Corvus cornixtalk 00:11, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

A new season, but still the same issue

Hey guys, just thought i'd bring this one up again (since it hasn't been put to bed yet). Nicknames. In this season, two offenders Danny (GC) and Jessica (Sugar). Right now, GC and Sugar are being used at points in the article. On the offical site, they are called Danny and Jessica on their profiles and as such should be used here. I will wait for consensus though to change it Survivorfan101 (talk) 03:59, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Whoa. Total noob here (me), just giving my opinion. xD Anyway, personally, I think it would make sense to refer to them as their nicknames, because that's how they are referred to on the show, and therefore they will be more recognizable by those names. That's just my opinion, you guys know more about this than me. Veego laberge (talk) 23:02, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
I agree with Veego. I think it would make more sense to use their nicknames. A casual viewer will come here and think "who are Jessica and Danny?", and furthermore, might confuse Danny (GC) and Dan Kay. MarkMc1990 (talk) 00:21, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Death of crew member ?

Just wanted to know why the information of the dedication to the dead crew member has been taken out ? The comment "not relevant to the outcome of the game" is valid, but then the article never claims - nor should it be intended to - to only talk about the outcome of the game. In general my opinion is that the article should be the source of all kinds of information about the show - not just the voting history. Not sure if I am happy that some people elevate themselves to filter whats relevant and whats not (after all thats against the spirit of wikipedia). In my case wikipedia was the first place I went to to see what this dedication was all about.
So - as I agree that the episode summary is probably not the best place to put this kind of information - I think it should be included in the article nevertheless. Maybe in a 'Interesting facts' section ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.243.220.200 (talk) 23:07, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

The Immunity Table

This is so complicated and I have no idea how to set this up. It's wrong though. There needs to be a second box with the Kota immunity separate from the Kota reward and Danny/GC immunity lined up with Michelle's elimination. There were three challenges in that episode. Rafe34 (talk) 03:09, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

My mistake. I got really confused about the whole thing. Anyways, it's fixed now. I went back and forth over if the current gray boxes or white boxes with "n/a" in them looked best. Four "n/a" boxes in a row looked cluttered to me, so I went with gray boxes. -- Gogo Dodo (talk)
(Apologies if I'm getting this the wrong way here; Gabon isn't airing here yet) Is the immunity that GC and Markus won in the first episode for their respective first tribal councils? This would make it the same as the Individual Immunity that Yau-Man and Kathy won in the first episode of Micronesia, yet that isn't mentioned in that article. I'll wait for clarification before I make any changes, as, like I said, I don't know the exact details here. -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 20:20, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
It's the same thing. It was mentioned in last season's episode summaries, but it wasn't added to the tables. I was going to fix that. I added it. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:41, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Episode One or One and Two?

The official CBS site is calling last week's premiere episodes 01 & 02. Should this article reflect that? -- BullWikiWinkle 18:05, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

I don't have a problem with that and according to the article history, neither does an anonymous editor. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 22:53, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
I don't have a problem with that either. I was about to alert anyone about this because the premiere episodes were aired here by delayed telecast as two episodes shown one after another in the same day. Good thing you pointed that out. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 07:54, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Controversy Section

I notice that the cortroversy paragraph keeps getting removed by the same anon without discussion. Just to make it official, do we have consensus that it belongs in the article? My opinion, it's sourced, it's a short paragraph so theirs no undue weight, it's inclusion is consistant with other articles for similar shows. I see no reason for this to be removed.--Cube lurker (talk) 18:35, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

It would be nice to have an outside source (not from the parents' group) article (I really haven't searched) but its good enough to keep right now. --MASEM 18:41, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
If you look at the last version I'd added a report from Yahoo/E-online.--Cube lurker (talk) 18:43, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
I think it's fine, though I hated the original addition, which is why I rewrote it awhile ago. I fixed your reference. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:33, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Clearly, I agree, as I've reinstated this information on multiple occasions. Good, third-party sources are what the Survivor articles really need, no matter how bad the publicity. Though as they say, bad publicity is good publicity! -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 08:54, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Ratings section removal

With the Ratings section being currently tagged as unsourced, it crossed my mind that perhaps this section can be removed entirely. I'm not sure what it brings to the over all article besides some stats that are not relevant to the game. If removed, I think it should apply to Survivor: Micronesia, too. Thoughts? -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:37, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Agree -- BullWikiWinkle 01:02, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
Not relevant to the game, yes, but relevant to the article, in terms of viewership etc. It is an article about a TV show after all. Of course, there is the slight problem that they're unsourced. But I've looked and looked and -seriously!- where do those IPs find them from? -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 03:37, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

I can't look in a TV Guide coz I'm not from the US, but I'll keep on surfing the net. Any input from others is most welcome. Do I need to cite each number? I.e.:
# Episode Rating Share 18-49 Viewers (millions) Weekly Rank
1 "Want To See The Elephant Dung?" (Part 1) 7.8 13 4.5/13 13.052[1] #13
2 "Want to See The Elephant Dung?" (Part 2) 7.5 11 4.5/10 13.064[2] #13

6 "He's a Snake, But He's My Snake!" 7.9 10 4.9/12 13.400[6] #9
Or can I chuck in the external link I posted above as a general source (there is an individual page for each episode, but all the information is on the page I posted above)? -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 05:00, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Voting history column headers for second tribal switch

I suspect that a slow edit war is going to start over what the label the second tribal switch in the Voting history table. It started off as "Swap", which I felt was too short and not consistent. "Swap" and "Switch" is pretty much the same thing. So I relabeled things "1st Switched Tribes" and "2nd Switched Tribes" (I originally had "First Switched Tribes" and "Second Switched Tribes") to be consistent. Unfortunately, I suspect there is going to be a slow edit war in an effort to shorten the header on the second switch in order to make the column narrower and look better. My position is to leave the column header in its most descriptive form and let the column width sort itself out as the game goes on and the table gets wider. Thoughts and opinions? -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:00, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

How about use "First Switch" and "Second Switch" (or just "1st Switch" and "2nd Switch," if you want it shorter). I've been trying it out on my sandbox. I don't know about you, but that will be better understood. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 07:40, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
I prefer longer, but I know that some people are going to prefer shorter. I like the consistency of having "Tribes" in the title. When I think about it more, we should probably use the same headers on the Voting history as we do on the Contestants table. The use of "Episode 4 Tribe" looks funny to me since the tribes lasted beyond episode 4. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 08:03, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
I vaguely recall the tribes in the contestant boxes being labeled "First Switch", "Merge" etc., but didn't make any waves when they were changed because I didn't see a major difference. Consistency would be nice though. I think that "Swap" is largely inaccurate, it implies that all of Kota became Fang and vice versa. "Switch" would be more correct. -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 01:25, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Nobody seemed to have any major objections, so I went ahead and changed the Contestants table header to match the Voting History headers. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 00:36, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
I think labelling them "Switch 1" and "Switch 2" on the voting history would suffice. No reason to make Marcus's boot column extra wide just for the sake of spelling out the whole word "second". Personally I hate it when one column is way wider than the rest and than it needs to be, it looks bad. It bothered me too in Panama when the first TC column was really wide because "Original Tribes" had to head it, but that looks like its been solved. (Another thing that bothers me is wasting columns by leaving them blank for people who quit/medevac in the same episode where someone else gets voted out, but I battled that to death already in Micronesia to no avail.) Kota buff color and Ken vs. Kenny

so I was looking at some insider videos on CBS.com and noticed the Kota buff isn't actually yellow, but a very bright yellow-ish chartreuse color like

#DFFF00

observe: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor/video/video.php?cid=834172396&pid=9Qm4ijhbK34JrvSlST01YAgk22eptk6Q&play=true&cc=92

And I was also wondering about Ken vs. Kenny. On the show they seem to call him Kenny moreso than Ken.

Anyone have a problem with either of these changes?

MarkMc1990 (talk) 20:23, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Unless the opening credits say "Kenny," which I doubt, let's use "Ken" instead. As for the Kota buff color, it looks more yellow to me. Like it was said earlier in the talk pages of any of the prior Survivor seasons, different monitors may show different buff colors. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:35, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
I agree with Nanami on both points. -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 04:03, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
On the Kota Buff color part, I guess I will have to agree with MarkMc1990. He wasn't the only one noticing the slight green in the Kota Buff because I am sure I saw the same thing too. Not only on the Buffs, but I remember seeing Marcus's subtitles when he was doing one of his confessionals, as well as the "Kota, Day ..." subs, and the top parts of the letters were clearly slightly greener than regular yellow.
However I wouldn't go as green as the above colorbox. The color I would recommend is

Episode Titles[1] Air Date Challenges Exiled Eliminated Vote Finish

"It All Depends On the Pin-Up Girl" October 30, 2008 Kota Marcus
[Sugar] 6
Sugar Ace 3-2 7th Voted Out

Dan 4-3 8th Voted Out
Day 21

In the case of multiple tribes or castaways who win reward or immunity, they are listed in order of finish, or alphabetically where it was a team effort; where one castaway won and invited others, the invitees are in brackets.

marcus is the winner of the individual immunity challenge.. sugar did not win.. she is only an invitee..

thoughts? diRkdARyL ♫ (talk) 13:51, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

I think this situation was a bit different in that Sugar was not an "invitee" per the usage of the word in the last seasons. Invitee is for when somebody is invited along at a Reward Challenge. Sugar's status at this Immunity Challenge was not an "invited along" thing as she was given her own immunity necklace that she had at Tribal Council. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:11, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

I can see the point though, that as the table stands now (save the footnote) it appears as though Sugar won immunity rather than having it given to her. Perhaps the wording could be changed to, "where one castaway won and shared with others, the recipients are in brackets."? Then just put brackets around Sugar's name without combining the cells. Like so:
Marcus

Article layout discussion

There is a discussion on the Borneo talk page where some changes to the current layout of Survivor articles are being proposed. If you have an opinion, you may want to weigh in. -- BullWikiWinkle 00:18, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Survivor 18

Someone added an "unsourced" information stating that the next season of survivor will take place in "Whit Island". I call vandalism on this one —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.33.24.46 (talk) 04:45, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Change has been reverted, along with other changes by this IP. Plastikspork (talk) 04:53, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
I can still see "White Island (2009)" on the category box.
The templates take a few minutes to update after they have been changed. Plastikspork (talk) 05:03, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
I see. Thanks for YOUR efforts on making this article a little bit more "secured" ^_^

Survivor Auction page

Should we make a page of all the Survivor Auctions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by DarkFireYoshi (talkcontribs)

You mean an article about one episode of Survivor? No. That hardly meets the notability standard. Besides, all information is covered in the episode summaries, and information about the Auction as a whole is in the main series article. No new articles required. -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 22:09, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
I'll second that. The auctions by themselves aren't notable. -- BullWikiWinkle 22:30, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Agreed, not notable. Plastikspork (talk) 22:59, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Survivor Records & Firsts

Why did we get rid of those in the articles? I miss them. They were great for reference. I know it will get turned down, but I would like to propose restoring them to each season's article. MarkMc1990 (talk) 03:46, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

WP:TRIVIA dictates no lists of trivia. Instead, try integrating this into the article. -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 04:35, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
I checked it out and this caught my eye under the "What this guideline is not" section: "This guideline does not suggest removing trivia sections, or moving them to the talk page. If information is otherwise suitable, it is better that it be poorly presented than not presented at all." -- So actually, it should have never been removed in the first place. Also, I don't feel it was all completely trivial, some if it was quite relevent. Most of the "firsts" were completely note-worthy, and many of the records were more statistical than trivial. MarkMc1990 (talk) 05:47, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Yes! Please bring back the list of Survivor records, I would love to seem them as a reference!

Strange Edit

Replace copied table to linked revision. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:56, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Um, what? :S I just found this on the page. I'm going to revert the edit right now, but this is still a little strange. Anyone know what happened here? Veego laberge (talk) 03:32, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

It was an anonymous IP trying to add unsourced spoiler information to the table. The changes have been reverted and the IP blocked for a short time for repeatedly trying to include unsourced spoiler information. The idea of splitting the tribes again post merger seems a little fishy to me. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:00, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
I applied for temporary semi-protection status. The vandalism/spoilers seem to be worse than usual tonight. Plastikspork (talk) 06:04, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
I think I got a handle on it after I blocked two IPs, the one doing the spoiler thing in the Voting table and one of the ones doing the Ratings changes. I believe that the most recent Ratings changing IP is actually the same person who made the same change a few hours earlier. The geographic location of both IPs are in the same area. I think semi-protection is a little premature since these two IPs are blocked. Many anonymous IPs make good edits and I think the blocks of the two IPs will do for now. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:14, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
I've seen the vandal edits, and took it as legit, although, as I have sometimes said to myself, I have my doubts. At least, from what I saw on this episode today (I'd watched in the afternoon, Philippine time), my doubts are correct. The castaways were just grouped into teams for the reward challenge. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:05, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Individual pages

I'm going to go ahead and start pages for Bob and Sugar, whom I suspect will merit them in a few minutes. That way, we will have something to work with when the time comes. KConWiki (talk) 03:03, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Location

There is no source that the filming took place actually within the Wonga-Wongue reserve. In fact, there is more reason to believe that filming took place just above the reserve near the towns of Nyonie and Ekwata, between the Pongara reserve and Wonga-Wongue. The Survivor Maps website says they filmed in Wonga Wongue, but the locations they actually show are not in it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pdiva (talkcontribs) 19:51, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Bob Crowley's city of residence

Crowley's bio page on the CBS web site erroneously states that he is a resident of Portland, when in fact he is a resident of South Portland. This is a common mistake made by those who aren't from Maine; they assume that South Portland is simply "the southern part of Portland," when in fact South Portland is a completely separate city. Reliable sources for Crowley's city of residence:

Color changes

OK, what is the deal with the constant color changes? The colors are being changed on almost a daily basis and it's getting kind of ridiculous. –BMRR (talk) 01:29, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 17:37, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Proposed tribe colors

To deal with the lack of accurate and definite tribe colors used on this page, I feel the need to start a section for discussion on this matter until we reach a consensus and finalize the solution to this issue.

Here are my suggestions:

Kota should be a richer yellow than what we currently have here, which seems way too light and washed-away. It is also not a pure yellow hue, as there is a very slight tint of green in the color of the buffs. Fang is not an exact color of red. It should seem (not by much, but definitely a bit) more rosy and less strong compared to, say, Aitu's color.

Fang Nobag
Kota

Any other suggestions?

I do like your Kota yellow. However, I think that Fang's red was a bit more deeper than what you have. I also think that the actual Nobag blue had a slight greenish tint to it. Here are my suggestions:

I'm glad someone else is finally noticing the green tint in the Kota buff! I proposed the same thing back when the season was airing but no one agreed with me. It's sort of like the Maramuu buff. There were definitely points where you could tell the buff was indeed more of a chartreuse color and not a definite yellow. MarkMc1990 (talk) 04:25, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
