It is rather strange to say "not to be confused with Surrey" because the name "Surry" is in fact the same word as "Surrey", which has had experienced variable spelling for at least as long as printing has existed. So "Surrey" is intrinsically confused with "Surry".

Most if not all of the places called "Surry" or "Surrey" were named directly or indirectly after the English county.Eregli bob (talk) 08:53, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
