Spelling?

[edit]
  • Is the correct spelling "Arrestor", as used in the title, or "Arrester", as used in the main flow of text? Google suggests "arrester" is correct, in which case I think this page should be renamed accordingly. If both spellings are correct, I think the text and title should still be consistent. --Freudinator (talk) 14:25, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No references. Entire sections seems (poorly) machine translated.

[edit]

Should the "Types" section be removed? Or just gutted?

It feels like a bad machine translation. Some sections are actual gibberish. I'm not even going to fix the grammar, or make the lines into actual sentences, because I can't figure out what is actually relevant.

I spent about 20 minutes researching different types of surge arresters, and their use, but the list on this page still doesn't really make sense.

A few of these seem to contradict an earlier statement "For consumer equipment protection, different products called surge protectors are used". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.147.25.81 (talk) 04:03, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
