Controversy

[edit]

The name Surendra Chaturvedi appears on a list of journalists who accepted bribe money from the Indian government to slant the reporting in the government's favor during a period of emergency in 1975. I'm not sure if this is the same man. Chaturvedi was said to work for the National Herald - but I've not found a reference that says that this articles Surendra Chaturvedi worked for the National Herald.

To ensure, though, that the article is unbiased, I wanted to post this hear to see if someone could help sort this out. For instance, maybe there's a contributor who lives in India that might have access to information that I'm not able to see.--CaroleHenson (talk) 05:39, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
