Talking about optimization doesn't make sense unless the "supply chain optimization objective function" is described.

This section contains two arguments, both couched in the context of commercial opportunities e.g., white papers are often guilty of expressing unsubstantiated opinions with the intent of attracting business, such as the consulting services the sponsoring organisation provides. The qualifications and credentials of the authors are often questionable. However, the greatest concern is that the narrative makes mention of academic credibility. If this has any substance, appropriate citations are mandatory. Simply put, for a subject such as this, academic credibility will have to be from a top ranking peer reviewed journal of international repute.
