WHY is Superman without his powers during this storyline? Some context would be nice. -Toptomcat 14:41, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"featured for the first time in 60 years the real wedding of Lois Lane to Clark Kent/Superman" is incorrect. Using the word real to describe a fictional story seems out of context but easily overlooked. However, the fact is that the characters Superman and Lois Lane first "really" married in Action Comics #484 in 1978. Present fictional continuity and rewrites of the fiction do not negate real publishing history. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.145.31.10 (talk) 16:20, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't there also a contribution by an artist that was dead at the time? Duggy 1138 (talk) 10:35, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article states that Lois and Clark's original universe was recreated during Convergence, but this isn't so. It has been revealed that the universe they're "stuck in" is actually their own but outside forces have changed the universe into one they don't recognize. They believe they're in a different universe, but they aren't. At the conclusion of the Superman Reborn storyline, this Lois and Clark merged with their previously deceased New 52 counterparts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1003:B842:873F:C500:D48A:5A0A:B294 (talk) 19:22, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

1960's wedding

[edit]

An earlier version of the wedding appeared in the Superman comics, although it might have been a dream sequence. Perhaps late 1960s or early 1970s.

They got married in 1978 though

[edit]

"An event 60 years in the making" sounds like some marketing language. Anyway, the original Superman and Lois got married in "Superman Takes a Wife!" http://superman.nu/tales2/wife/?page=0

The "New Earth" Superman and Lois got married in the Wedding Album. Separate characters.
