This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the subject of the article is significant. He has been a prominent anti-nuclear, anti-war activist in Japan for decades and his words and story have been published many times in different publications, as noted by the references in the article. There are many more references to him in the media that I have not included. In addition to his story and positions on political issues being reported many times, his role as the chair of Nihon Hidankyo means that he has significance as one of the most prominent atomic bomb survivors, who has repeatedly met politicians to advocate for them.--Josephus37 (talk) 00:03, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
