Prose and content

• c. 2001–2002 I don't think circa is appropriate here, when it's either or
  • I made a note about this in the section of the article that discusses the motel's closure, but the sources I found are in disagreement over the exact year that the motel closed, with several giving the year as 2001 and others giving the year as 2002. I'm not sure what the reason for the discrepancy is, as most of the sources don't go in depth regarding the specifics of the closure, so I felt it was appropriate to give both the years and clarify to readers that, depending on which sources were consulted, it could have been either year.
• The architecture section is really lacking an explanation of why differences in categorizations are meaningful; while there is some discussion of why the mid-century modern classification was made, this is the only one, and implies that "large plate glass windows" are more indicative of this than others; is this true? What is the relationship between these? Are any a type of the other? etc.
  • Most of the sources I found that describe the architectural style of the motel do not go in depth with their description of the motel, especially the one that classified the building as being in the International Style. The information on the plate glass windows and metal screens comes from the National Trust for Historic Preservation article, which contained some of the only discussion on why they classified the motel the way they did. Had the sources given more information on the architectural style, I would have elaborated further, and if I come across any reliable sources that discuss the matter, I will update the article accordingly.
• What did the commons contain?
  • Unfortunately, I was not able to find much information on the exact purpose of the commons area in any of the sources on the motel II was able to find, and I feel as though any elaboration on my part would be conjecture.
• I don't think My Cat, Spit McGee has a comma
  • The reference that this information comes from uses the spelling with a comma, and I saw comma usage on several entries for the book on Google Books. However, after a quick search on WorldCat, it seems as though the official title of the book lacks the comma, so I have removed it from the article.
• the new motel became notable for housing several members you don't have to identify it as notable here, it is apparent it is notable for this. If it is known for it, then this is the appropriate descriptor.
  • Rephrased this section to remove the identification of this information as notable.
• Concerning a 1984 meeting After a 1984 meeting? If he's describing the living arrangements it is this that his writing is "concerning"
  • Changed "Concerning" to "Following".
• Some overlinking, you don't need to overlink common concepts such as African American, homosexual and common knowledge
  • Removed links to the general concepts listed above.

  • Rephrased in the manner specified above.
