Please read before CSD-tagging: COI/promo but possibly notable

[edit]

Although there is a clear COI/promotional issue going on here, the subject of the article may be notable. I could find eight hits through Google Books and eighteen through Google Scholar. There are also around 7500 google-hits, but that itself doesn't say much and a quick glance told me that most things google finds there are either not independent or not reliable (or both).

I have not yet looked in-depth as to how reliable the hits from Google Books and Google Scholar are and whether they are trivial mentions or in-depth coverage, although a quick glance told me that a fair few are at least independent of the article's subject, but it looks to me like the subject of the article has a fair chance of being notable enough per wikipedia guidelines. Nevermind: what is notable is the organization behind it, Sulabh International, and that article already exists, if somewhat outdated. Going to redirect this page to that article. AddWittyNameHere (talk) 09:31, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
