Comparison to "Know"

[edit]

I don't really get the supposed time sig similarities. Both use 4/4 (but, then again, so do the vast majority of popular songs) but with totally different accentings (Sugar having a more simplistic beat, apart from the fills). Plus, Know has sections in 7/8 - as far as I know, Sugar doesn't. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.102.54.186 (talk) 09:57, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicting information.

[edit]

It says that Sako is a drum tech, then a gun manufacturer. Which one?

Both. Sako is the name of the drum tech, and the company that manufactures guns is called SAKO. gracz54 16:29, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whoa!

[edit]

The article says Aspartame can induce homocidal tendencies... holy crap. Is this true? I propose getting rid of that unless a source is found immediately. In addition IF we find a source, I suggest adding it to the appropriate article about the substance. Sorry if this comment's off-topic, it's just that it IS in the article. EDIT: In accordance with the "Be Bold" policy, I have removed the sentence and the things that would be made illogical/grammatically incorrect because of that sentence's removal, amounting to three sentences.199.126.134.144 04:24, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Network?

[edit]

I just watched the movie Network, because of this article, and I didn't see the so-called scene, which was "re-enacted" in the Sugar video. Is it just me? (Did I just fall asleep during the movie?) --Szajd 21:27, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The opening may have been influenced by the Sidney Lumet speech in Network. However, it is not a reenactment. I also don't believe the resemblance is strong enough to be a parody. Therefore, I have left any reference to this scene out of the entry. --rd media editor 21:12, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Sugarsingle.jpg

[edit]

Image:Sugarsingle.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

  • What is the deal here with no citation for the mushroom people lyric refering to Mario? Following the link about the drink it looks to me more likely they were referring to the origins of the drink. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.185.139.73 (talk) 00:13, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Backwards lyrics

[edit]

This song has fairly clear lyrics when played backwards explaining some of the more indecipherable lyrics when played in a standard fashion. It seems like this should be covered in the wiki page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.8.4.91 (talk) 06:26, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
