"subject" or "genitive noun phrase modifying the subject"

I think that in the sentence "A subject, for instance, would be marked with a subjective affix as well as a genitive affix", we need to replace "subject" with "genitive noun phrase modifying the subject". In the example, it is "k'ac-isa-ni" that takes both the nominative and the genitive affixes, and "k'ac-isa-ni" is not the subject, but a genitive noun phrase modifying the subject.
