Year of Birth

[edit]

There is contradictory information about the day/year of birth among the sources. I could find:

  • Glamour girls of the silver screen: July 17, 1928. Information on this page is based on the following sources: "The Charleston Gazette, Middletown Times Herald, The Kansas City Star, Long Beach Independent, www.Ancestry.com".
  • IMDb: July 17, 1928. They normally require reliable sources, but one does not know what they used.
  • The Sydney Morning Herald, June 26, 1949: 1930 (just the year). This is also the (only?) source of the fact she was chosen as "Miss Tulsa" in 1936, thus at 6 according to this article, which is rather surprising, as according to Miss Oklahoma, contestants are otherwise much older, even in the past (for instance, in 1926, Norma Smallwood was Miss Tulsa at 17, and in the list, the lowest known age is 16). So I'm wondering about the exactness of this short article.
  • Ancestry.com gives the following information: Spouse: Larry Stewart; Birth: 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA; Death: in Los Angeles, California, USA. I don't have an account to get more information about the sources.

It appears that 1928 is the most reliable year. Vincent Lefèvre (talk) 09:51, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
