- Hi Drat8sub, thanks for bringing this article to my attention. I have added this article to my watchlist, and will try to make time to research new content that can be added here. — Newslinger talk 00:38, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
- Are there any reliable sources that explicitly describe Sudarshan News as right-wing or propaganda? I don't think the cited sources support these descriptors, especially in the first sentence. — Newslinger talk 00:43, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry Newslinger, I've been busy with some real life works, so could not reply. Right wing for sure, Chavhanke himself held various offices in RSS along with his all his communal shows. Now propaganda means "biased or misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or POV", yes most sources tell it's biased to one community and against another and misleading and quite evident from the fact that he himself ask viewers to watch his channel as a opinionated campaign so it's here to promote political cause and POV. We just need more sources. I will add more. Give me some time, I'll back with some more sources. Drat8sub (talk) 05:26, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- It's been a year and a half, and new reliable sources have emerged that support the "right-wing" descriptor for Sudarshan News:
- "Hindu extremists in India escalate rhetoric with calls to kill Muslims" from NBC News (RSP entry): "Speaking in Delhi, Suresh Chavhanke, editor of the right-wing outlet Sudarshan News, administered an oath to attendees that 'until our last breath, to make India a Hindu nation, keep it a Hindu-only nation, we will fight and die, and if required we will kill as well.'"
- "How disinformation led to the attack on missionary school in MP by right-wing groups" from Alt News: "Several other right-wing channels have also amplified the false 'conversion narrative', including Sudarshan News."
- "Sudarshan News Shares Video Of Teacher Punishing His Student With False Communal Narrative" from The Logical Indian, a fact checker certified by the IFCN (RSP entry): "Sudarshan News, an Indian right-wing news channel, posted a video on Twitter with a communal narrative."
- "The 'Hindutva Ecosystem' Has a New Anti-Muslim Narrative. This Time Street Vendors Are the Target." from The Wire: "Sudarshan News, a far-right TV channel often accused of broadcasting hatred against Muslims, reported the Uttam Nagar protest in an extremely inflammatory manner."
