What exactly qualifies this personal page for Wikipedia/ Remove??
[edit]This person has done nothing significant to warrant a Wikipedia page. Are we allowing people to self-promote nowadays? Please justify why this person is important enough for a page on Wikipedia. He has no specific claims to fame other than his personal education and occasional work for the Thai junta presently in power. The MIT and NY Times websites mean nothing to this. There is zero information about this person at the links! And by the way, the link to his "personal website" doesn't work. Mark this page for deletion! Board Members subsection
[edit]It is currently a list of appointments, some quite brief. Should it be trimmed down to only where he made notable contributions (supported with sources)? Aithus (talk) 15:10, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
I also tag the subsection with {{Importance section}} since, per template documentation, "sections in an article that is about a clearly notable subject should themselves be of encyclopedic merit and both relevant to the topic of the article and non-trivial (i.e. "important" in the context)." Aithus (talk) 15:13, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

- @Bujsaran (1) Please read WP:OVERCITE and get rid of more than half of these citations. (2) The only difference I see is that the sentences are shorter, but they still do not tell me about his contribution in any of the role. What did he do for State Railway? The part about National Housing Authority describes the planned projects in detail but does not mention their outcomes or his part in them. Same with BMTA and MEA. As for the last paragraph, serving as council members for other universities are routine for university heads. Aithus (talk) 05:12, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
- 1. Okay, I'll remove duplicate citation.
- 2.1 Finding public online information of his contribution in any role in the past for Thailand is difficult (Information may be in newspapers or magazines at that time.). I could find in online was his role and length of time in that role. for his contribution in any role information. I may need to find a way to contact for inquiries to Mr. Suchatvee or related organizations. which may be conflict Wikipedia policy because it is the primary reference?
- 2.2 For council members section, I propose to merge with King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang section.

- @Bujsaran Primary sources are not ideal, but they might be acceptable if the statements they support are not exceptional or controversial. The problem would be verifiability. You probably don't want to cite "private communications with Mr. A".
- As you now understand my point that statements in the article should be encyclopedic and relevant, I will leave you to it. I won't be removing them, but editors with a stricter approach might. Aithus (talk) 08:20, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
