There are a number of potentially interesting things about this film. It was originally filmed as a silent film with the name The Price of Divorce in 1928. Because talkies were just coming on the scene it wasn't released but remade to include a soundtrack. As such it is perhaps historically significant. It also includes one of the earliest film performances of Frances Day - who went on to become the first British screen siren - a fore runner of Marilyn Monroe.
