Succession to British Crown

[edit]

Opera hat - you obviously feel this article should be contained in the category Succession to the British crown. However, the Act pertained to Canada only, it did not touch on the British Crown at all. Unless, of course, you have evidence to the contrary. --G2bambino 17:16, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I thought that in the interests of brevity Category:Succession to the British crown would be a better title than the more accurate but long-winded Category:Succession to the crowns of the predecessor and successor states of the ci-devant British Empire. However, I've now changed it. Opera hat 10:20, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. It's important for clarity and accuracy. --G2bambino 17:21, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Text of the Act

[edit]

Any links to the actual text of the Act? Astrotrain (talk) 21:52, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I still can't find any references to the actual text. However I did find out the Act was not passed until 1937, and so the whole article was completely wrong and misleading. I have updated and provided some references. Astrotrain (talk) 17:40, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Provincial Parliaments

[edit]

Should the article note (assuming that such is the case) that the Act was passed by the Parliament of Canada alone, without input from the provincial Parliaments? Alekksandr (talk) 22:28, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
