Submarine Products and its brainchild Hugh Oswell have both left an indelible mark on the history of British diving equipment. I have attempted to expand what has already been posted during the noughties in this article by using sourced print and online information accessible to me. I feel a particular affection - and admiration - for this innovative enterprise, not least because of its location further up the Tyne Valley from where I live and have worked.
