I think this connection is tenuous at best. Is it even claimed by any reliable source? What about sources published by Stuttgart Surge? If neither of them make the connection, the name being the same might be worth a mention, but certainly not the highly dubious claim of "the Franchise" having won the WLAF decades ago.
