Wow - pretty impressive to have the material on student unions' Australian history. El T 05:36, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
Can we remove the communist POV?
[edit]I know I've just paid complements, but can someone work out how to remove the decidedly red interpretation evident in the opening paragraph? In particular, the references to (petit) bourgeoisie reek of unreconstructed Leninism. El T 05:42, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
- Yes I agree with you; that paragraph seems to generalise without evidence. However, I don't know enough to fix it; for all we know, those claims could be true. In general, this article needs proper researching and referencing. enochlau (talk) 06:17, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
- No objections from me. I think this whole section could do with a good rewrite based on good, cited, sources. Ambi 06:32, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV
[edit]I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:
- This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
- There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
- It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
- In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 12:54, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
