Removed "There are around 160 species, concentrated in Europe." as these are not accurate statements. There are far more than 160 species between all of the genera in the Strophariaceae. They are cosmopolitan in their distribution and Europe, while having many species, is not particularly a center of diversity for this group. Peter Werner - June 20, 2005
File:Pholiota malicola.jpg to appear as POTD soon
[edit]Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Pholiota malicola.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on April 11, 2011. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2011-04-11. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :) Thanks! howcheng {chat} 17:50, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
