Adding Information[edit]

I would like to add the following information to this page: This bat's most striking feature is a very elongated spear-shaped nose-leaf covered in hair--a feature unique to this species; the ears are large and broad.

This is my first time editing in Wikipedia. Full discloser, this is part of an assignment for a class I am taking. I chose bats because I think they are really cool and important to our world.

Also, the information I would like to add I got from a library book which I have in my possession for citation purposes. Aurafaison (talk) 21:00, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article's picture[edit]

The picture of the bat in the book looks different from the one posted in the article. The main difference is the "spear shaped nose". I can provide a picture from the book, by taking one with my phone, but I don't know how to upload it to this talk page. Aurafaison (talk) 23:37, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The scientific name doesn't match the one in the link provided[edit]

The scientific name listed in the article, Gardnerycteris crenulata, doesn't match the name in the link provided, Gardnerycteris crenulatum. Are both spellings correct? Aurafaison (talk) 22:05, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Where the bats live[edit]

The locations for habitations listed in the book are different than the prior locations listed according to a website source. I don't know which is correct or if either is incorrect, but it's confusing. Aurafaison (talk) 22:13, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
